Born from the heart of an educator
Our Story
The RIPE program is a collaborative effort born from the heart of Elva Olivas Ochoa.
Drawing upon her 30+ years as an educator and international educational consultant, Elva gained a front-row seat to the current needs of educators, specifically in regard to social-emotional learning as well as the need to recognize and address different strengths and needs of students.
This lead her to collaborate with a group of professionals and developed an innovative program that abandons the ‘one-size-fits-all’ teaching style and helps students and teachers not only understand themselves but others as well.
Our Mission
Our mission is to enhance educational experiences by focusing on the role human connection plays during the learning process. We aim to empower educational communities by supplying them with the tools necessary to cultivate environments that recognize, and value, the uniqueness of each individual.
Our Values
Our program is founded on four values: Respect, Individuality, People, and Engagement. When used effectively, they have the power to build environments, and relationships, that encourage people to become the best version of themselves.

We strive to equip educators with the tools and knowledge necessary to understand and motivate students so to help them become the best version of themselves.
Meet Our Founder
Hello, I am Elva, founder of RIPE!
For over thirty years, I have had the unique privilege of participating in international professional development across various industries. Through this experience, I learned that people are made up of unique traits that lead to their extraordinary individuality and one-of-a-kind personality. As an educator, I was eager to rethink traditional teaching strategies, and develop a tool that could integrate an element of human connection into the learning experience. After learning the detrimental effects of having a ‘one-size-fits-all’ teaching attitude can have on student engagement, productivity, and motivation, I set out to design an innovative solution.
In 2019, I, together with a group of professionals, ventured to create the RIPE Program with the intention of helping students and educators better understand themselves and others. It is my ultimate dream to see many, many people benefit from this program, and in turn lead more fulfilling lives.
